How To Change Your FKtotalaccess or Fkglobal Dial-Up Number

Follow the instructions for your operating system to change your local dial-up number.
Also you must put @fkglobal.com on the end of your username EX. username john = new username john@fkglobal.com

Windows XP

  1. Click the Start button to open the Start Menu, slide up to Connect To.
  2. Click on the connection you use to dialup to Fkglobal or FKtotalaccess.
  3. In the field labeled Dial, erase the existing number and type in the new number.
  4. Click the Dial button.
  5. Windows will ask you if you want to make the change permanent. Click Yes.
  6. You're done!

or

  1. Click the Start button to open the Start Menu, slide up to Control Panel .
  2. Then Open up Network Connections
  3. Click on the connection you use to dialup to Fkglobal or FKtotalaccess.
  4. In the field labeled Dial, erase the existing number and type in the new number.
  5. Click the Dial button.
  6. Windows will ask you if you want to make the change permanent. Click Yes.
  7. You're done!

Windows 2000

  1. Click the Start button to open the Start Menu, slide up to Settings and left-click on Control Panel.
  2. Double-click on the icon labeled Network and Dial-Up Connections.
  3. Double-click on the icon for your connection with Fkglobal or FKtotalaccess.
  4. Left-click on the Properties button.
  5. In the field labeled Telephone Number, erase the existing number and type in the new number.
  6. Click OK and close the Dial-up Networking window.
  7. You're done!

Windows Millennium Edition (Windows ME)

  1. Click the Start button to open the Start Menu, slide up to Settings and left-click on Dial-Up Networking.
  2. Left-click once on the icon for your connection with Onperfect or Totalaccessme.
  3. Pull down the File menu and click on Properties.
  4. In the field labeled Telephone Number, erase the existing number and type in the new number.
  5. Click OK and close the Dial-up Networking window.
  6. You're done!

Windows 95/98

  1. With your computer turned on and all programs closed, double-click on the My Computer icon on your desktop.
  2. Double-click on Dial-up Networking.
  3. Left-click once on the icon for your connection with Fkglobal or FKtotalaccess.
  4. Pull down the File menu and click on Properties.
  5. In the field labeled Telephone Number, erase the existing number and type in the new number.
  6. Click OK and close the Dial-up Networking window.
  7. You're done!

Windows NT 4.0

  1. With your computer turned on and all programs closed, double-click on the My Computer icon on your desktop.
  2. Double-click on Dial-up Networking.
  3. In the Phonebook Entry to Dial: field, ensure that your connection with Fkglobal or FKtotalaccess is selected.
  4. Click on the More button and select Edit Entry and Modem Properties.
  5. In the field labeled Phone number:, erase the existing number and type in the new number.
  6. Click OK, then click Close and also close the My Computer window.
  7. You're done!

MacOS X

  1. Click the Apple menu.
  2. Click the System Preferences.
  3. Click the Network icon in the System Preferences.
  4. Select Internal Modem or External Modem in the "Show" box.
  5. Select the PPP tab.
  6. In the field labeled Telephone Number:, erase the existing number and type in the new number.
  7. Click the "Apply Now" button.
  8. You're done!

MacOS 9.0 and Remote Access

  1. Open the Apple menu by click on the Apple icon in the upper-left hand corner.
  2. Slide down to Control Panels and select Remote Access.
  3. In the field labeled Number:, erase the existing number and type in the new number.
  4. Close Remote Access and click Yes when you are prompted to save the changes.
  5. .
  6. You're done!

Macintosh Computers using FreePPP

  1. Open the Apple menu by click on the Apple icon in the upper-left hand corner.
  2. Slide down to Control Panels and select FreePPP Setup.
  3. If you do not see 3 or 4 tabs, including General and Accounts, click the arrow in the bottom-left corner to display these tabs.
  4. Click on the Accounts tab
  5. With your connection for Onperfect or Totalaccessme selected, click the Edit button.
  6. If you have a Dialup tab, click it. If you do not have a Dialup tab, disregard this step.
  7. In the field labeled Phone Number, erase the existing number and type in the new number.
